Planting the seeds of learning: Infant to Kindergarten.
Ms. Joyce
Hello! My name is Ms. Joyce, and I have been working for Sowing Seed School since 2019. I was a Preschool Teacher for almost 10 years and have been on the Administration Team since 2022. The most rewarding part about working with children is the opportunity to witness and contribute to their growth and development, build strong bonds with them, and positively impact their lives through learning, nurturing, and guidance.
On weekends, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the movies, and exploring new cities and restaurants, but I also enjoy staying in with a good book and a home-cooked meal!

Ms. Khalli
Hi! My name is Ms. Khalli R. Harris, IFA-E, I have over twenty-five years of experience educating the tiniest of learners, fostering learning, through exploration and play. In addition, creating learning opportunities through environments that support the individual needs of our students. Along with my experience I currently hold degrees in Early Childhood Education and Human and Family Development.
I am Endorsement by the state of NJ, through the Association of Infant Mental Health. I am also certified as a Birth and Postpartum Doula. I believe in community and being the difference, you would like to see; I have sat as a Board of Education Trustee for the Edgewater School District for over three years.
I believe the best part of working at the Sowing Seed School over the last few years is being afforded the honor of watching each child grow and develop to their fullest potential! My favorite way to spend my weekend away from teaching is to spend time with my three beautiful children and my significant other outdoors hiking or skiing.
Ms. Maureen
With over 15 years in education, working with children feels natural due to their boundless energy, curiosity, and wonder. This inspires me to appreciate life’s little moments and reignites my own sense of joy and curiosity.
I find deep fulfillment in creating a safe, supportive environment where children can develop emotional intelligence, social skills, and confidence, which will contribute to their future success.
Building relationships with children and being a positive role model is a rewarding aspect of my work. The trust and affection they offer fuel my passion for making a meaningful impact in their lives. Early childhood education plays a crucial role in development, and helping families navigate the school transition is both challenging and rewarding.
Ms. Diana
Hello, my name is Diana. I am a tour coordinator on our administrative team at Sowing Seed School. What I love most about working there are the relationships created between children and parents. As a parent, I appreciate good communication with caregivers I can trust with my silly and adventurous toddler. I also love the opportunities offered to expand and grow as an individual.
When I first began my early childhood journey, I started off as an assistant teacher, then became lead teacher and now tour coordinator. I am fascinated with all of our children’s milestones, whether it’s an infant taking their first step to a student reading on their own. The most rewarding part of working with children is watching them grow out of their shells and develop their own personalities. There is never a dull day. As educators we have a huge responsibility to help build beautiful minds and help create a better future for generations to come.
During my weekends I enjoy being outdoors as much as possible, I enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, snowboarding and snow tubing. I also enjoy reading, doing arts and crafts, and practicing new hobbies.

This school is a place where creativity thrives, and everyone is dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of children. I truly feel valued as a member of this amazing community.
One of my favorite moments at Sowing Seed School is visiting every classroom and interacting with the kids. I love seeing their faces light up as we share a laugh or play together. It’s these little moments that make working here so rewarding.
Ms. Jheneil
Hello! My name is Jheneil. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and was involved in opening Sowing Seed School in 2017.
Since then, I have taken on various roles, including administration and finance.
What I love most about working at Sowing Seed School is being part of a team that shares a common goal: providing high-quality education and fostering a community that feels like family.
We prioritize the well-being of our children and staff, creating an environment where everyone feels safe, valued, and supported. Educating children at an early age is essential for their overall development, as it equips them with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in life.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and exploring new hobbies. I’m also an avid golfer.
Additionally, I love to explore new cultures through travel and appreciate the different perspectives they bring to education and life.
